About the Author
The Rev. John Yieh is a well known Chinese Anglican biblical scholar and Professor of New Testament at Virginia Theological Seminary. He received his Ph.D. from Yale University and has taught at Bangor Theological Seminary and Andover Newton Theological School.

We worked through Matthew with this book, but found ...

We worked through Matthew with this book, but found we had to supplement a lot of material, especially "The Sermon on the Mount" for which we used the sermons of the Rev. Dr. John Claypool. John Yieh is an academic and we appreciated his insight, but Rev. Claypool was an outstanding preacher and brought The Beatitudes to life for us.
